I take the streetcar down King Street to meet Mr. Glen Dodds of Bonnevue Manor, but there a couple of ways to get here. As soon as you arrive you’ll be delighted to see the front of the home, which is beautiful garden that has an assortment of flowers and plants, great for your botanical friend…lol…I know you don’t have one. He has a clientele base of a 500 km and many Europeans from Germany and Britain.

Many people come here for the tours that Glen is able to offer; eco tours through a variety of green lush areas in the province of Ontario, specifically in the Niagara Falls region; cultural/ group tours such as the underground railroad which take up to two days; Wine tours throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake and tours that take you to Ghana and visit the history through an Afro-centric view, this tour he partners with a friend. School and church tours and Glen inform me that there are over 160 different cultures in Toronto alone. WOW!!! But you’ve got to remember that if you’re a group you need to know the cancellation policy, so come and stay has long as you want. You’ll be treated to a full breakfast in the morning that consists of smoked salmon, sliced ham, cream cheese and a variety of cheeses, eggs, fruit, cereal…we give you a hot breakfast and I must say probably the best breakfast that being served by the host that I’ve been told about since my arrival to Toronto. I’m going to need an invitation by Glen so that I can test it out for myself…we’ll see if he reads this or not…lol
If you didn’t you know, Mr. Glen Dodds performs gay weddings all in one place and visit toronto gay weddings to get more details…another Wow!!! Oh! Did I mention that the bathrooms are newly renovated and in most cases can accompany 2 persons, very comfortably? You can check the site in your home and or in your room which has FREE internet in every room. Every room seems to have a different color schemes that inspires a variety of comforts and even a Mexican and/or Mayan influenced room with obvious colors and motifs.
Feel free to entertain yourself on the piano or even with the residential guitar. Working with Hostelbookers gave me the opportunity to go to Milan, Italy and in the art oriented patio you have grapes hanging from the ceiling of the patio and beyond, picnic tables and of one of my favorites a bbq. I guess everyone in the office knows how much I love to bbq…well just ask Yolanda and Francois then there’s High Park within 15 minute walk, your right by the lake, entertainment of Ontario Place for you and the Children and many restaurants in the area. Your downtown but you don’t have the inner city feel.
If you can’t get a hold of Glen, then feel free to communicate to either Dorothy or Jessica. Bonneuve Manor encourages students and interns studying in Toronto to stay.
I walk up the street and jump on the Dufferin bus and proceed to my next appointment
