My Thoughts

My travels to Atlanta didn’t start to well but it ended up being a great trip. Once I got off the coach and used the local transportation (very easy to use and reminded me of Washington) I got a cab and went to the property to check in. Once there, I realized that I had left my phone in the cab...called the service to find out the operator didn't have the correct number of the cab i was driving...so there went all my numbers that I had for people I was able to share experirences with during this journey. I went back to the metro station and looked for the cab driver and I actually spotted him, but by the time it took me to reach him...he had already dropped and picked up about 3 passengers. With no means to communicate, I remembered passing a bar...a caribbean bar and I met a beautiful bartender that served me up some rum and beer. My spirtits were lifted and then i went back to the property, picked up my items and went to the Atlanta International Hostel where I just kept on having a good time every night. Very easy to find...well, I took a cab and just wanted to get there immediately. A place I found that was a very easy place to meet people and the balconies are absolutely huge, so you can enjoy the area from a little bit above. Groceries are close by for you to pick up and start cooking up and so are enough stores to find items for your day to day needs. Again, the beauty of traveling and meeting people from all around the world, listening to their stories and experiences has it soothes your back from the loads of bags carried. My first moment in the hostel, the desk clerk gave me a tip where to go for a bite for the eveining at the Flying Bisquit which was great! Then came back and meet some travelers and we decided to go out for the night! Then we had some drinks and chatted some more and then hitted a sports bar. My night isn't over yet because i was introduced to another part of Atlanta and then we dined at a 24-hour Mexi Tasa...And that was just night one...Atmosphere as you can see is great!
