In a area that's mixed with residents, restuarants and the New Orleans tourist board around the corner to pick up even more activity needs for your stay. Steve though will give you his personal touch to the the state that's he's very passionate about and loves. His expertise of the city and state is a great feature for any traveler. The dorm is spacious and very basic with wall particians for every 4 beds in most cases even their 16 bed dorm. Looks like it can get a bit stuffy, but some of these things are exspected in dorm situations and with the humidity of the south. Marquette House consists of three buildings and the structure directly across from the office has sand blasted walls and is great for 3 - 4 people and they'll clear it out for business meetings up to 50 people. It also consists of a beautiful yard for you to relax, bbq and even play some kick up. I stayed in the building next to the office and it's a great family room with Queen size bed, sofa bed (cot upon request), kitchen table, tv, microwave, fridge & a full bath...treat yourself ummmmmm.
