What use to be an orphanage is now a guesthouse and it's very very spacious for a good nights sleep. It has one 25 bed dorm right now that is being used by the Katrina Corps, which is volunteer organizatin to get some of the city schools up and going. In the middle of the beautifully architectured New Orleans style structure is a pool for your enjoyment and it's a beautiful pool that is great for meeting people, relaxing in the sun and joining in some pool activities .The very friendly staff will make sure all your needs are met and ask them, but don't expect their once featured Southern Breakfast...lots of restaurants in the area and a short walk into the fashionable Garden district. Great place for the family and two blocks away you can have a beautiful picnic in the park.
