Say no to technology and jump feet first into the beauty of nature has you find yourself either by automobile or cycle to HI - Point Reyes. Wow!!! What a much needed getaway and just an hour drive from San Francisco…but don't quote me :) I had got picked up from San Rafeal and then Hanna and I made our way past some small towns and winding roads amongst animals of its natural habitat. The size of the cabin gives you the opportunity to join in an intimate atmosphere, interacting with travelers world-wide in conversation, games and even cooking up some dinner together. I went on a couple of hikes with and without company which will test you mentality with foreign outdoor sounds, especially if your a city person...lol...that right you'll hear every bush rustle and think that you could actually be staring in your own B movie horror flick but then when you make to the beautiful coastline, it's all so relieving. After spotiing white, brown and spotted deers, hung at the isolated beach...I decided to make my way back, but I went out in the morning with Hanna and another traveler and it was a negative tide. That's right, so i got to see mussels, starfish, man-eating plants (well...they move to touch :) and seagulls, seagulls and more seagulls :)
